Who we serve

If this sounds like you, you're likely a fit.

You're caring for a parent, spouse, or loved one at home.
They're on Medicaid — or likely eligible for it.
You want to be paid — and properly trained — for the care you already give.
All 50 states

We support families across the country. Because the care happens at home, where you live doesn't decide whether you qualify.

Common questions

The things families ask us first.

Does it cost me anything?
No. Denizen is free to families — we're paid through the care benefit, not by you.
How much can I be paid?
It depends on your state and your loved one's approved hours and needs. A coordinator gives you a real number early, before you commit to anything.
Do I need any experience or a license?
No. We handle the HHA certification and training — that's the whole point. If you're caring for someone already, you're most of the way there.
How long until I'm actually paid?
Usually around ten weeks from the start of approval, though it varies by state and how quickly Medicaid moves.
What if we're not on Medicaid yet?
That's common. We help determine whether your loved one is eligible and get them enrolled as part of the process.
Do you only work in certain states?
We support families in all 50 states. Because the care happens at home, where you live doesn't decide whether you qualify.
